The Neighbourhood Mothers program is on summer break from 29.6.-3.8.

It’s time to say thank you for a great spring in Neighbourhood Mothers program!

  • Neighbourhood Mothers groups are on break from 29 June to 3 August. The groups will start again in the autumn.
  • Neighbourhood Mothers coordinators will be on summer break from 29 June to 3 August. We will respond to messages again starting from 3 August.

Need help in the summer?

  • Emergency number 112. Contact if there is an emergency, accident, danger to life or serious concern.
  • Medical helpline 116117. Medicalhelpline is where health professionals can tell you if your situation requires a visit to a health emergency room.

  • Shelters in Finland for victims of domestic violence: See the addresses here (Visit an external site. The link opens in a new tab.). You can go to a shelter if you have experienced violence or fear violence, for example in your own home. You can get help and support in a shelter. The shelter is free of charge.

Things to do in the summer

There is plenty to do in Finland in the summer. Libraries, swimming pools, nature trails and playgrounds offer fun things to do free of charge.
